Video | WNDU Airs Three Part Series on Notre Dame Science Innovations

Part 1
Bringing Innovation

Notre Dame’s initiatives to impact the South Bend economy by translating research discovery to commercial application was the subject of a three-part report, “Fighting Brain Drain,” by WNDU, a local television station. The first segment, on the importance of bringing innovation, focuses on research by Mark Suckow, research associate professor, to develop a cancer vaccine and included Innovation Park CEO David Brenner describing the combination of finance, marketing and sales experts that the “commercial accelerator” will bring together with researchers. Suckow hopes to bring his discovery, which has enjoyed success at treating prostate cancer in rats, to the park.

Part 2
Science Entrepreneurship

Part 3
Connecting Innovation to the Market
