From Witchweed to Capsugel(R) Intellectual Property Counsel: One Path
Dr. Boone obtained her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Chicago and conducted postdoctoral research at Rockefeller University. Afterwards she was a chemistry professor for a few years. She then became a patent agent and the law firm for which she was working paid for her JD degree while attending George Washington University’s law school at night. She has worked as a patent attorney at several corporations. She currently is Intellectual Property Counsel for Capsugel, a company that provides innovative dosage forms. Dr. Boone will share her career and life experiences.
