The State of the Department Address
In this academic year's first colloquium, Prof. Kolda will begin a new tradition of addressing our faculty, staff, and students on the successes, opportunities, and challenges that have marked the past year and are facing us in the coming year. This will be a great opportunity to welcome new faces, review some of our recent honors and accomplishments, hear about departmental goals and initiatives, and preview the new University strategic plan.
All physics department faculty, research staff, administrative staff, graduate students, and undergraduate majors are invited to attend. Our traditional refreshments will be served following the colloquium, rather than beforehand.
