What is Digital Scholarship?

This workshop is intended as an introduction to the foremost concepts of digital scholarship. The primary aim is for participants to acquire an understanding of the potential of digital tools and strategies within their own research. Topics to be discussed include GIS, data analysis, text mining, digitization and metadata services, and data management planning. The session will include an overview to the Center for Digital Scholarship, its services, and personnel that support academic projects.
