“Partial Differential Equations: Basic Theory”

Course Description: We begin by introducing elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic partial differential equations. We next develop methods to study the solutions to such equations. At the conclusion of the course, we will consider such equations as they arise naturally in geometric problems and solve a few example problems.
