NDnano is pleased to announce the University of Notre Dame Symposium on Electronics and Photonics.

The symposium is an excellent opportunity for researchers to share their latest results and to learn about research in the local community. Contributed talks will be 10 minutes long with two minutes for questions. Student presenters will be considered for Best Presentations, with cash prizes totaling $900. The topics for this year's symposium include:

  • Electronic devices
  • Photonic devices and integration
  • Low-dimensional systems and 2D crystals
  • Applied photonics and biophotonics
  • Nanomagnetics
  • Other topics in electronics and photonics
8:00 a.m.: Check-in / light refreshments
8:40 a.m.: Technical Session 1 - Polymer soft materials
10:40 a.m.: Break
10:50 a.m.: Technical Session 2 - Bio-nanotechnology
12:30 p.m.: Lunch
1:45 p.m.: Poster Session
4:00 p.m.: Science Forum & Tour (for local high school and college students)
