A screening of the film “From the Ashes” will be held Tuesday, June 6, at 7:30 PM in the Near Northwest Neighborhood Community Center. This film looks at the coal industry from a wide array of perspectives and considers what’s next for our economy, health, and climate. A transition to clean energy (especially in current and former coal communities) is the focus. This film’s broadcast premier is June 25 on National Geographic. View trailer.
