The College of Science offers four unique professional master’s degrees that provide students with the skills necessary to make an immediate contribution in the workplace in just one year.
Master's studies in applied and computational mathematics and statistics provide students with the complex mathematical, statistical, and computational tools necessary to succeed in critical career positions within the financial industry. There are four concentrations available: applied statistics, computational finance, applied and computational mathematics, and predictive analytics.
The Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship Excellence Master’s Program (ESTEEM) is a joint degree offered by the College of Science, the College of Engineering, and the Mendoza College of Business that provides science and engineering students with the entrepreneurial skills required to translate their inventions into commercial ventures.
Through instruction, research, and hands-on experience, the Master of Science in Global Health helps students to make connections between classroom training in global health topics and the real health needs of the world’s poor and underserved.
The Master of Science in Patent Law prepares science and engineering students with technical expertise to pass the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Bar exam and to succeed in day-to-day practice as a patent agent.
