Graduate student Jordan Scott wins Best Poster Award

Jordan Scott, a Univerrsity of Notre Dame graduate student working with Rob Stahelin, won a Best Poster Award during the annual meeting of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Boston in April.

Her poster was honored in the Lipids and Membranes category. Her poster was titled, “Spatial and temporal regulation of the Nedd4 family ubiquitin ligases through phospholipid binding.” The award included a $250 cash prize.

Stahelin is an associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend and an associate adjunct professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Notre Dame.
