Harper Cancer Research Institute hosts 4th Annual Open House

All are welcome to attend the Harper Cancer Research Institute’s (HCRI) fourth annual open house on Wednesday, June 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 

In discussing the event, M. Sharon Stack, Kleiderer-Pezold Professor of Biochemistry and Ann F. Dunne & Elizabeth Riley Director of the HCRI, said, “Each year the HCRI opens its doors to allow the local community to learn about cancer research taking place in our community. I encourage the South Bend – Elkhart region community to attend our open house and experience all the activities this event has to offer.”

 

The event will take place at Harper Hall, 1234 Notre Dame Avenue, and offer a variety of activities:

  • Touring laboratories and learning about cancer research in the South Bend community
  • Meeting Reggie Brooks, former University of Notre Dame All-American and NFL tailback
  • Participating in the silent auction at givegrove.com/openhouse with the proceeds benefiting Coach Mike Brey’s Coaches vs. Cancer efforts
