Sophomore science-business major, Marie Forte recently attended the Business Today International Conference and competed in a Harvard Business School case competition in November 2010. Marie was one of 160 students to be selected from over 1,000 applicants worldwide to participate in the conference, a three-day, all-expenses-paid event held at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

Business Today, located at Princeton University, was founded by Steve Forbes, Jonathan Perel and Michael Mims with the goal of encouraging meaningful interactions between college students and business executives. The event consisted of four keynote addresses, 45 small breakout seminars, and three case studies from the Harvard Business School. The students were also involved in an executive panel, during which the participants debated with three top financial minds on the most controversial issues facing today's economic world.

Over 70 leading executives from across the country facilitated debate and dialogue for the participating students, and held a recruiting reception during which students were presented with the opportunity to speak with recruiters from top firms in financial, technology, and marketing sectors regarding future careers. Forte was sponsored by Magellan Health Services.
