Anne Carmichael, M.D., Ph.D will lead a discussion of "exploration of careers as M.D./Ph.D. in history of medicine."
Dr. Carmichael earned her M.D. and Ph.D. in history from Duke University. She is a professor in the Department of History at Indiana University. Her research interests are in the history of medicine and public health (especially during the medieval period), and the history of epidemiology.
