Nearly everyone has been affected in some way by cancer through loss or illness of someone we care about. Come learn what research is being done right here on Notre Dame’s campus to battle various forms of this disease.

The keynote speaker will be Anil K. Sood, M.D., professor in the Departments of Gynecologic Oncology and Cancer Biology, and co-director of the Center for RNA Interference and Non-Coding RNA at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Sood is also co-director of the multi-disciplinary Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program and vice-chair for Translational Research in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology.

Research Day will also include a poster session of cancer research conducted at Notre Dame and IUSM-SB. Awards will be given for first, second, and third place in the following categories: undergraduate, graduate student or technician, and post-doctoral fellows.
