Many people believe mathematics to be a magical subject, but few realize that magic can be mathematical as well. In this talk, Notre Dame alumna Sami Assaf will demonstrate three magical card tricks that arrise from combinatorics. She will unravel the tricks adn the mathematics behind them to discover why they work and why mathematics is a magically wonderful subject to study.
