International Open House 2014

Come and meet representatives of the many units at Notre Dame that offer or support international opportunities for students.  

  • Freshmen: Start exploring the many international options available to you
  • Sophomores and Juniors: Knowing about specific international programs will help you plan your academic year
  • Seniors: Just came back? See how your international experience can benefit your job search or graduate school application

Many participating units will have information of interest to graduate students and international students.

Program:

4:15  – 4:30 pm           Welcome remarks by J. Nicholas Entrikin, Vice President and Associate Provost for Internationalization

4:45  – 5:15 pm           Short Panel: “Did You Know? Additional Support for your International Experience”

An opportunity for students to get introduced briefly to some of the services that can support them before, during and after their international experience

5:20 – 5:50 pm            Short Panel: “Where do I start? Navigating the International Experience Waters”

An opportunity for students to hear about the different types of international experiences (e.g. study, research, service learning), about what it takes to be successful and how to plan well.
