"A Bayesian hierarchical spatial model for dental caries assessment using non-Gaussian Markov random fields"

Ick Hoon Jin received his Ph.D. degree in statistics from Texas A&M University under the supervision of Dr. Faming Liang in 2011 and completed his postdoctoral fellow training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center under the guidance of Dr. Ying Yuan and Dr. Peter Thall in 2014. He currently works as a research scientist at the Center for Biostatistics in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His current research interests include statistical analysis of network data, Bayesian spatial data analysis, and Bayesian adaptive clinical trials.

Refreshments will be served from 3:45-4:15 p.m. in the Hurley Hall globe area.
