Ralph Deberardinis, professor and chief of the division of pediatric genetics and metabolism at the Children's Medical Center Research Institute (CRI) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, will lead a faculty seminar on metabolic heterogeneity in human cancer. Dr. Deberardinis's research focuses on discovering new metabolic pathways and liabilities in cancer cells, finding methods to analyze tumor metabolism, and understanding pediatric inborn errors of metabolism.
