Spicer Lake is considered the hidden gem of St. Joseph County. Spicer Lake’s kettle lake basin is one of the few in the state that is undisturbed. The state-dedicated nature preserve is home to many rare and endangered plants and animals and May is an ideal time to see the many types of migratory birds that visit the wetland.

This workshop is intended not only for existing sustainability faculty but for those seeking to explore how sustainability interacts with their discipline and to consider incorporating sustainability into their teaching. Please forward this invitation to your colleagues who may be interested, in order to help us achieve the goal of spreading Sustainability Across the Curriculum!Advanced graduate students are welcome as well.
