Rare Disease Day Conference

Location: Jordan Hall of Science (View on map )

Rare Disease Day is an observance held on the last day of February to raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatment and medical representation for individuals with rare diseases and their families. The College of Science, Boler-Parseghian Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases, and the Patient Advocacy Initiative celebrate this importance of this day with an annual Rare Disease Conference.

We invite you to join us for the 14th Annual Conference on Advancing Rare Disease Research, Therapy, and Patient Advocacy on March 3-4, 2023 in the Jordan Hall of Science. This year’s program promises to be filled with renowned researchers from across the country who will present on a variety of topics ranging from rare disease gene discovery, to designing new drugs, to academic-patient collaboration that advances rare disease research, and more. Panels featuring patients and their families, and additional experts from the field, will also be a highlight of the program. The tentative schedule at-a-glance can be viewed here.

Registration is free an open to all - please register here by February 15.
