Will give a Geometric Analysis Seminar entitled:
Brakke flow with a forcing term
Abstract: Given a compact smooth hypersurface and a non-smooth time-dependent vector field, one can prove some existence of an evolving hypersurface whose velocity is equal to the mean curvature and the given vector field. I discuss the existence and regularity of such a hypersurface under a certain general regularity assumption on the vector field which is subcritical in the sense of parabolic scaling. I also present a recent existence result which may be considered a critical case, the latter being a joint work with Yuning Liu (NYU Shanghai).
