A presentation about the Collaborative and plans for expansion as part of the 4.0 grant. Named for the connection of diverse communities by the state’s Monon railway, the Collaborative connects a wide variety of community organizations to address health inequities across the state. The Monon Collaborative will apply data and scientific expertise to develop and implement solutions for helping Indiana become a healthier state.

Public Deliberation, Bioethics, and Subject Advocacy

The Bioethics and Subject Advocacy Program (BSAP) of the Indiana CTSI is available to Notre Dame researchers to answer questions and help guide ethical approaches to research. BSAP recently led a public deliberation with laypeople from across Indiana to identify their recommendations for improving trustworthiness in biobanking.

Peter H. Schwartz is Director of the Indiana University Center for Bioethics, Professor of Medicine and Bioethics at the IU School of Medicine, and Professor of Philosophy at IU Indianapolis. He is Director of the Bioethics and Subject Advocacy Program of the Indiana CTSI.

Informatics and CTSI Researchers
A presentation about what informatics is currently working on to provide CTSI researchers with awareness of, access to, and training for data sets for research, as well as how to make the process of research using data more streamlined, efficient, and effective.
