All are invited to Merrimans’ Playhouse for CHATS: Culture, Humanity, and Arts Through Science. The evening begins with a performance by the Merrimans’ Play-House Players from 7:30 – 8 pm, setting the stage for an engaging conversation between postdoctoral researcher Seth Koren and professor emeritus Lyn Spillman. Together, they will explore the “science of society”—examining human sociality, the role of culture in shaping our lives, and how sociology bridges the natural and social sciences.
