The University of Notre Dame’s Neuroscience and Behavior program, in partnership with Self-Healing Communities of Greater Michiana, has an annual Brain Awareness Fair each spring in Michiana to promote STEM disciplines, specifically neuroscience. The inspiration for the Brain Awareness Fair comes from the Dana Foundation, a nonprofit organization that celebrates Brain Awareness Week every spring. Our team of Brain Ambassadors and NSBH student volunteers hold a free-for-all-ages Brain Awareness Fair, sharing the importance of brain health and emotional wellbeing. Similar to a pop-up science museum, the fair consists of numerous hands-on activities developed to foster public enthusiasm for the understanding of neuroscience.
More details will be coming soon.
