Notre Dame International is hosting a series of events to help connect students with resources and information on study abroad opportunities around the world. Study Abroad Week kicks off Monday, September 9. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to participate in signature events, information sessions, and social opportunities.

This year’s signature event, Study Abroad 101, will be hosted on Tuesday, September 10 from 6-8 PM at DeBartolo Hall. The study abroad team will be highlighting various program options, recommending programs by college, reviewing the applications process, and discussing financial aid in short 15-minute sessions. This program is designed to help students explore their study abroad options.

Throughout the week, the study abroad team will also host advising on the fly at locations across campus. These sessions are meant to be informative, as they will be handing out materials on specific study abroad programs. It’s also a chance for students to meet with the program directors and learn more details about different locations.

A scavenger hunt and trivia night will also be featured during the week-long event. Be sure to follow Notre Dame International on social media during the week for a chance to win $500 towards an NDI Summer 2020 study abroad program. Students are also encouraged to participate in the “Ready, Set, #GoFurther” scavenger hunt all week. Clues will be released daily on NDI’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The more riddles that students can solve, the better the odds.

Staff from Notre Dame International’s Global Gateways and Centers will be on campus to help with information sessions. There are more than sixty study abroad programs for students can explore.
