"The New Assault on Dignity in Bioethics:  What Does it Mean for the Future of Medicine?" by David Solomon, Ph.D.

Prof. Solomon earned his B.A. from Baylor University in 1964 and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas in 1972.  He was a research fellow at Oxford University ('72-'73 and '82-'83) and at boston University ('75-'77) and visiting professor at Baylor ('94-'95).  He joined the Department of Philosophy at Notre Dame in 1968,  He was founding director of the ND Arts and Letters/Science Honors Program and director of the ND London Program.  He is currently director of ND's Center for Ethics and Culture, which he founded in 1998.

The Dooley Society hosts or supports a speaker before all of the Notre Dame home football games.  For medical professionals, category 1 CME credit will be offered for most meetings.
