The World Health Assimilation Through Notre Dame (WHAT ND) club is putting on a health lectures series this semester in collaboration with the Multicultural Student Activities and Service Office to explore aspects of health, healing, and medicine.
The first talk is on "Why Acupuncture?" where we will learn about alternative medicine from a chiropractor/acupuncturist who practices at the Hollistic Health Center Alliance right here in South Bend! She will be talking about her journey, what made her choose alternative medicine over other health professions, such as allopathic medicine (MD) or nursing, and give an acupuncture demonstration.
