Arjia Rinpoche, a prominent Buddhist teacher and lama who escaped from China in 1998, will give a talk on the practice of cultivating compassion, followed by a moving ceremony conducted by seven Tibetan Buddhist monks from India to mark this occasion.
The evening will be facilitated by Dominic Vachon, M.Div, Ph.D., director of the Ruth M. Hillebrand Center, and Jan-Li Lin, visiting assistant professor of mathematics.
