Notre Dame Fighting Neglected Tropical Diseases (ND Fighting NTDs), a student-run global health club on campus, will host an academic panel to inform students on the complexity of global health within the context of the recent Ebola outbreak -- from the disease, to the treatment and international response. All undergraduates, regardless of major, are invited to attend.
The academic panel includes professors from across the University:
- Prof. Catherine Bolton, anthropology
- Prof. Robert Stahelin, chemistry and biochemistry
- Prof. Robert Dowd, C.S.C., political science
- Prof. Russell Faeges, sociology
This event is also hosted by the Eck Institute for Global Health, the Center for Social Concerns, Timmy Global Health, and the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children.
