Dr. Benjamin Troy, a psychiatrist who works with children, will open the 19th annual Mini-Medical School lecture Wednesday, March 11 with a discussion “Typical Teenagers: A Psychiatrist’s View on the Challenges of Adolescence.”
Dr. Troy, who is in private practice in Mishawaka, will describe the spectrum of typical teenage behaviors and the developmental changes that serve as catalyst, as well as the indicators of genuine psychological trouble.
His presentation will take place at 7 p.m in Raclin-Carmichael Hall. His lecture launches a series of five presentations between March 11 and April 1. They are sponsored by Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend and the Medical Education Foundation.
