Representatives from about 50 nonprofit service organizations will be on campus from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 on the Joyce Center Concourse, second floor, to talk to students about postgraduate service opportunities in:
- Business/Communications
- Education
- Healthcare
- Policy/Advocacy/Civil Rights
- Social Services/Ministry
- Technology/Engineering/Construction
Issues include poverty, immigration and refugee resettlement, environmental justice, healthy food, wellness, housing/homelessness, youth development, elder care, to name a few!
Volunteers typically perform professional roles withing the organization and receive room/board, stipend, health insurance and additional benefits (education award, travel assistance, mentoring, career development)
