Swift Eye Surgery Recovery: The Tranexamic Acid Advantage
Dr. Marous will discuss the risk of acute vision loss/blindness due to bleeding complications in surgery, and introduce a new surgical modification that implements tranexamic acid to reduce bleeding, improve safety, and optimize outcomes in eyelid and orbital surgery. This new protocol improves rate of healing, outcomes, and patient experience with eye surgery.
