Knute Rockne, All American tells Rockne's incredible story as he began his career as a Notre Dame football player, worked alongside Fr. Julius Nieuwland, CSC (inventor of synthetic rubber) as a chemist, and ultimately went on to become one of the most successful coaches in Notre Dame football history. Join us to enjoy a movie and learn more about one of Notre Dame's most famous Catholic scientists and one of our most famous coaches.


In honor of the feast day of St. Albert the Great, patron saint of scientists, the Society of Catholic Scientists Chapter at Notre Dame is holding its first Faith and Science Week, cosponsored by the College of Science, the Department of Theology, the McGrath Institute for Church Life, and the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture.

Faith and Science Week 2023 will take place from Sunday, Nov. 12, to Friday, Nov. 17, and will celebrate the harmony that exists between science and faith as two different paths to grow in knowledge of the truth.
