Biography
As the Project & Events Manager for the Dean’s Office, Jamie Thomson leads day-to-day project management operations, ensuring the seamless execution of tasks and deliverables. With an impressive 25-year career, Jamie brings a wealth of experience in relationship building, event planning, and providing administrative and team support, enriching the Communications & External Engagement team with her expertise.
Jamie's journey to her current role is marked by dedication and achievement. She pursued her academic endeavors while excelling as a student-athlete, earning an Associate's degree in General Studies from Glen Oaks Community College in 1997 and subsequently an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from IUSB in 1999. Before joining the College of Science, Jamie spent nine years at the Career Development Office, honing her skills and making significant contributions.
