As a field of science, biology helps us understand the world we live in and the ways life on Earth functions, evolves, and interacts at a molecular, cellular, individual, and population level. As an integrative discipline, a minor in Biological Sciences would promote interdisciplinary study and prepare students for opportunities in fields such as healthcare, research, environmental/healthcare/patent law, environmental science, agriculture, forensic science, bioengineering, and consulting. This minor does not satisfy the requirements for admission into medical school or the allied health fields.
