Science Preprofessional Studies (SCPP) is a 64 credit hour interdisciplinary science major designed to encourage a broader and deeper holistic education, primarily for students preparing for one of the health professions. On average, more than three-fourths of all Notre Dame applicants to M.D. or D.O. programs are accepted. The average Notre Dame applicant has an MCAT score above the national average.
