Nuclear Physics Seminar: ANASEN - Recent results and future directions

Location: 124 Nieuwland Science Hall

Speaker: Professor Grigory Rogachev
Florida State University

Construction of reaccelerated rare isotope beams facility (ReA3) at NSCL opens up new opportunities for nuclear astrophysics and structure of exotic nuclei studies. Capabilities of the new experimental setup – Array for Nuclear Astrophysics Studies with Exotic Nuclei (ANASEN), that is to be installed at ReA3 will be discussed. I will review the results of the first test experiments performed with ANASEN at Florida State University and discuss future perspectives of ANASEN.
