Ignite Michiana is a high-energy evening of five minute presentations by people who have an idea – and the guts – to get onstage and share it with fellow creative folks. Each presentation is composed of 20 slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds. Presentations can range from how to build a resume to a history of the Samurai sword to a manifesto on boxes. For Ignite Michiana #1, the theme is Sustainability and Innovation. Priority will be given to talks focused on sustainability, however don’t let that limit you, we have left room for exciting talks that might fall outside the theme that are simply too good not to share.
In addition to 18 great 5 minute presentations on innovation and sustainability, there will have intermission entertainment and a terrific after party in the newly reopened historic State Theater. There will be food for purchase from Thyme of Grace, Stevie's and Rabbit Moon bakery. A DJ will keep the mood upbeat for socializing and networking.
