DNA Learning Center Dedication

Location: 139 Jordan Hall of Science

The College of Science at the University of Notre Dame is please to announce the dedication ceremony for its new DNA Learning Center, which will take place on Saturday, September 28 at 11:30am in 139 Jordan Hall of Science.

The Center will provide hands-on learning experiences in molecular biology and serve as a regional resource for both K-12 and undergraduate science education. Faculty and their families are encouraged to attend this event. Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.

Remarks by: Gary Lamberti, Professor and Chair, Department of Biological Sciences; David A. Micklos, Executive Director of the DNA Learning Center, Cold Spring Harbor Lab; and John Passarelli, Medical Director of the Long Island Eye Surgery Center, LLC, and College of Science Advisory Council member.

Local school children who visited campus drew their own DNA concepts will have their work on display. Several students will receive awards for their outstanding work.
