Take a moment to stop and draw the roses during this workshop with botanical illustrator Kathleen Garness . Under Garness’ skilled guidance, discover and connect with the natural world using graphite and colored pencils.

Garness has created illustrations for education programs and exhibitions at the Field Museum, the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and the Nature Conservancy. One of her personal missions is to use botanical art to educate people about our environment, especially the value of plants in our lives.

All materials will be provided and all experience levels are welcome.
