Art Conservation Panel

Location: 200 Riley Hall

Join the Art History Club for a panel on conservation, a field which requires extensive knowledge of both chemistry and art, on Thursday, November 21st at 5:00 pm in 200 Riley Hall with a reception to follow. Professionals in the field of conservation will discuss their careers and experiences with conserving art in a conversation moderated by Cheryl Snay, Curator of European Art at the Snite Museum of Art. 

The panelists will be Jennifer Hunt-Johnson, Special Collections Conservator for Notre Dame's Hesburgh Libraries; Dr. Maria Kokkori, Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chicago and Research Fellow in the Department of Conservation Science at the Art Institute of Chicago; and Elizabeth Wingfield, Associate Painting Conservator at the Art Institute of Chicago.
