Postdoc Lightning Talk Competition

The inaugural College of Science Lightning Talk Competition, part of Postdoc Appreciation Week, highlights exciting scientific research being conducted by postdoctoral scholars in the College of Science, and helps develop presentation and research communication skills. The goal is for postdocs to effectively explain their research in three minutes to a non-specialist audience, with the support of a single slide. 

This final round is open to the public. Three finalists from each department will compete, with the winner receiving a cash prize of $500. A family-friendly reception follows in the Galleria until 6 p.m., with childcare provided. To attend the reception, please fill out this RSVP.
