CoS Postdoc Lightning Talk Competition The CoS is hosting the 3rd annual CoS Postdocs Lightning Talk Competition in honor of Postdoc Appreciation Week. This competition highlights exciting scientific research being conducted by postdoctoral scholars in the College of Science, and helps develop presentation and research communication skills. The goal is for postdocs to effectively explain their research in three minutes toa non-specialist audience, with the support of a single slide. Department Qualification Round The BIOS department will hold a qualification round and choose three finalists on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The top three finalists from each department will compete in the final round hosted by the College of Science, where they have a chance to win a cash prize of up to $500. Eligibility Any Postdoctoral Fellow in the BIOS department is eligible to participate.
