In this presentation, we offer a practical overview of the art and science of mathematical models in business and finance. How can we use mathematical models to guide business decisions and public policy? What are the attributes of a good model and what pitfalls may lurk beneath the surface of our endeavors? We’ll also look for commonalities that transcend technique or domain.
