Community Outreach & Engagement

The College of Science connects with community members and organizations to advance the University's institutional goal to "engage in external collaborations that extend and deepen Notre Dame’s impact."  The programs outlined below exemplify the engagement of students, staff, faculty, and community partners collaborating to benefit society through educational outreach and professional development.

Opportunities are available for K-12 students and teachers from the local, national, and global community as well as the general public. Contact information is located on each program webpage.

For a complete listing of outreach opportunities, please review the 2016 Stem Resource Guide (2.1 MB).

For faculty and graduate student development opportunities regarding community engagement, please visit the Center for Social Concerns website.
